To convince readers that censors have unjust motives, the author uses rhetoric to appeal mostly to
kumpel [21]

Here is the full excerpt for this question:

For me, reading has always been a path toward liberation and fulfilment. To learn to read is to start down the road of liberation, a road which should be accessible to everyone. No one has the right to keep you from reading, and yet that is what is happening in many areas in this country today. There are those who think they know best what we should read. These censors are at work in all areas of our daily lives.

I believe the answer is: D. emotions

Rhetoric that appeal to emotions could be seen from the use of sentences that is aimed to make the readers/listeners relate to a certain situation that might ignite their emotional response. From the excerpt above, this could be seen in this line: No one has the right to keep you from reading, and yet that is what is happening in many areas in this country today.

• Pg. 113 - In lines 1-6, identify where Wollstonecraft uses antithesis.  What is her purpose in using antithesis in this passag
Trava [24]

In the first paragraph of A vindication of the rights of women, Wollstonecraft uses antithesis when she says "that either nature has made a great difference between man and man, or that the civilization which has hitherto taken place in the world has been very partial". She does this to state the main point of her argument: that men are women are born equally but it is civilization that creates the differences between them.

She immediately states that she has read various books about education and "observed the conduct of parents and the managements of schools", and it is "the neglected education" of women the source of their misery. This is, women would be as able as men if they received the same education.
