Divide each coat by the square footage. then you will get price per foot. this will tell you that the lowest price per square foot is the best deal.
\frac{350000}{1400} = 250
keep going for each 316.67 for house b
270 for c
185.19 for d

213.3 for e.
so house d is the best value for price per sq ft.

Express each of the following fractions as a percentage 9 by 27
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

9/27 = 33.3% (rounded to the nearest tenth)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, x equal the percent out of 100

Step 1: Cross multiply

    1. 9/27 ∙ x/100

    2. 900 = 27x

Step 2: Divide both sides by 27

    1. 900/27 = 27x/27

    2. 33.333333%... = x

    3. Hence, the answer is 33.3% (rounded to the nearest tenth)

Answer:

P(rolling a multiple of 3)= 1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiples of 3 in between 1-6 ( there are six numbers on a dice, from one to six) include 3 and 6. These give you two out of six outcomes with multiples of 3. Probability of an outcome is calculated by

(number of favorable outcomes/all possible outcomes)

There are only two favorable outcomes in this event, 3 and 6.

And there are 6 outcomes due to there being 6 sides on a dice.

Substitute the numbers in to get (2 favorable/6 possible) >> (2/6)

then simplify by dividing top and bottom number by two to get (1/3)

If you are rolling it one time, then there is no need to do additional work.

Why is the notation startfraction dy over dx endfraction used to represent the derivative?
kkurt [141]

We know \frac{dy}{dx} expression is used for represent the derivative.

Actually, derivative is the second name of " Rate of Change".

And if we read \frac{dy}{dx}, it represents the "Rate of change of y with respect to x".

In simple words, a derivative is the rate of change or slope of a very small portion of a function.

dy represents very small change in y-coordinate and dx  represents very small change in x-coordinate.

Because deriviate is the second name of " a very small rate of change".

We use \frac{dx}{xy} to represent the derivative.
