Passage 1
Genrish500 [490]
The correct answer is A. The second passage does not imply any indication to save people, so it is not c.

The first passage is not only about turtles, so the answer is not b.

Neither passage is talking of public libraries or beaches, so it is certainly not d.
Therefore the only logical answer is a. One is talking about efforts being made to save a wildlife habitat, while the other speaks of a bustling city and its prospects.

Hope this helps!

if you were king acrisius would you do the same thing just to escape from his dreadful faith. why or why not?
KiRa [710]

Answer:

No, I wouldn't do the same thing that King Acrisius did.

Explanation:

From the whole story, we've come to understand that Apollo's oracle was inevitable. It was bound to happen unless Danae was killed before she could bore a child. King Acrisius couldn't kill his daughter because he feared the wrath of the gods. Although he made sure to keep her and her son, Perseus, away from him with all efforts. Sadly, in the end he was killed by Perseus just like how the oracle prophesied.

Therefore, if I were king Acrisius, I wouldn't have done the same thing as he did just to escape his dreadful fate. Instead I would keep Danae and Perseus close to me so that I could give them all my love and care as a father and grandfather while it lasts.
