Japan's reforms from 1868 to 1912 enabled the country to grow stronger economically, develop its own resources and force an end to unfair treaties. They did not deal with the west on equal terms.
Im some industries it is beneficial while others it is not.
Some struggles could be how people choose to promote others.. their promotion could flop causing not a lot of viewers to find an interest in voting for them. another struggle could be a bad reputation. if they have a bad reputation, viewers will find the candidate as a untrustful president.

The great and all powerful Soviet Union, and then after 1949 the communist german party took controlled which was maintained by the United Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR). Also I should mention that the Allies wanted to split the city of Berlin up since it was fair.. So Berlin was split in 4 parts and thats why you hear the name "Berlin Wall" which was the Soviet Wall surrounding their side of the city..
