- This stock crash lasted 10 whole years.
- Many, and I mean <em>many</em> people lost their jobs and houses, and extreme human suffering.
- Herbert Hoover was the president during this time. Many thought he was the cause for the Great Depression.
- There was such thing known as "The New Deal" that was series of laws and programs used to help the Great Depression.
