Also the way that they ate things such as potatoes may differ. There were different perspectives that the Europeans had about the Taino and vice versa. You can relate to this somewhat by thinking you went exploring and come across this area of land where people are and you decide to explore it. You find that these people are different from you and that you are different from them from the way they look to the way they eat. You think that what your lifestyle is correct while the other people think theirs is correct. That is somewhat similar to the Europeans and Taino.
