While trying to control aggressive behavior, a client asks an assertiveness training nurse to give an example of an "I statement
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

A. "I would like to know why you came home late without calling me."

Explanation:

Statement A, "I would like to know why you came home late without calling me.", is the best example of an assertive communication technique that expresses the concerns of the client in an honest and straightforward way without sounding rude, aggressive or jumping into conclusion quickly. In this way, the right of the other person would be respected while the client expresses his. The rest statements given as examples contain words that suggest aggression, such as “hate”, “angry”.

Who created the term cold blue for hospitals?
Minchanka [31]
When my son was in picu I asked bc the hospital we were in used code red. There are no standard definitions or conventions for the use of codes in hospitals I was told by the nurse. While code blue does refer to a cardiopulmonary arrest at many hospitals, it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing everywhere.

Which provider would you expect to have the most authority in their job?
Gwar [14]
A: Physician (Doctor)

They have more training and an excellent salary. The training for physicians are very high and they have to go through from being an intern and resident, whilst nurses, dental assistant, lab technicians, and certified nurses aid don’t have to go through more. Also, aids aren’t really that high since they’re not in a high position as the person that they are helping! :)
