There are six different admissions processes colleges can use to determine your eligibility to enter a college. List two and pro
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

SAT, GPA, Personal Essay, Teacher Recommendations, Rigorous Courses, Supplemental, Interviews

SAT - this exam is made for someone how puts TIME and EFFORT into understanding their mistakes - and to not make the same ones again, someone may take 8 AP classes and have all A's but if you get a meager score on the SAT - it shows you did not take it seriously nor did you put time in.

GPA/ courses - take advanced classes in the subjects you are interested in!

Someone interested in STEM may take AP Physics, Chem or Bio someone who's interested in the humanities would take AP Lang & Lit, APUSH, AP Government or AP Spanish

Teacher Recommendations - teachers have seen you grow and develop, some you my make strong bonds with and this is your time to have actual proof from an adult of your accomplishments and work ethic.

Interviews - are you a person who is articulate, presentable or confident? colleges love that, go impress a college admissions officer through this.

Participants in the Iditarod must go 77 km, west from Rainy Pass to Rohn and then go 121 km, northwest from Rohn to Nikolai. Wha
iren2701 [21]

Answer:

8.6 km/hr

Explanation:

It looks like there's a lot of extra information here. If the question only asks about the trip from Rohn to Nikolai, then the only information that matters is that the distance between the two is 121 km & that Seavey did it in 14 hours. Don't let the extra numbers throw you off.

As for the math behind this - km/hr is a math equation in and of itself. Any ratio like that is a simple division problem. Just plug your numbers (121 km / 14 hr) into the formula (km / hr) to get your answer!

EDIT: for future questions where they don't label it as clearly... velocity = the distance divided by the time.

RUDIKE [14]

The movement of the seafloor and the tectonic plates has been responsible for the movement of the continents. The arrows in the model can be represented as "A: S, B: S, C: N, D: N"

What are tectonic plates?

The big pieces of the earth's lithosphere that move is termed the tectonic plates. The movement of the plates has been given as the theory for the formation of the continents, as well as the cause of various disasters, including earthquakes and volcanos.

The model representing the movement of the plates from the center can be given in the N and the S direction. Thus, the representation of the arrows in the model will be: "A: S, B: S, C: N, D: N"

Two events that are simultaneous in one inertial frame of reference will not necessarily be simultaneous in any other inertial f
Flauer [41]
Oh wow, this sounds like Relativity. I think it means when observing an phenomenon, it can be different. For example, when two cars are going 80mph on the highway. If you are in one of the cars and look at the other driver, it would seem that time has stopped for you and the other driver while the world moves.

While someone observing on the outside would see you two move while the world is still
