Answer:

4 / 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

x = 4

To find : F ( x ) = ?

Solution : -

F ( x ) = ( 3x / 2 ) - ( 14 / 3 )

F ( 4 ) = ( 3 * 4 / 2 ) - ( 14 / 3 )

= ( 3 * 2 ) - ( 14 / 3 )

F ( 4 ) = 6 - 14 / 3

LCM = 3

So,

6

= 6 / 1

= ( 6 / 1 ) x ( 3 / 3 )

= ( 6 x 3 ) / ( 1 x 3 )

= 18 / 3

F ( 4 ) = 6 - 14 / 3

= 18 / 3 - 14 / 3

= ( 18 - 14 ) / 3

F ( 4 ) = 4 / 3

Answer:

f(4) = 1.4

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = (3x/2) - (14/3)

We are given that x = 4

f(4) = (3(4)/2) - (14/3)

f(4) = (12/2) - (14/3)

f(4) = 6 - (14/3)

14/3 as a decimal is 4.6

f(4) = 6 - 4.6

f(4) = 1.4 (approximately)

Someone please explain the differentiation product rule. It'd be great if you can use the example question given below.
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

The product rule is if the two "parts" of the function are being multiplied together, and the chain rule is if they are being composed. For instance, to find the derivative of f(x) = x² sin(x), you use the product rule, and to find the derivative of g(x) = sin(x²) you use the chain rule.

(sorry i didn't use the example but i hope this sort of helps!)

G(x) = −5x + 2, find g(–4).
Anika [276]

Answer:

g(x)=22

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute -4 into the equation.

g(x)= -5x+2

g(-4)= -5(-4)+2

g(-4)= 20+2

g(-4)= 22
