For your first question World War 2 has impacted us on technological disruption, global economic integration, innovation, and digital communication. For your second question all I know is that some benefits may be full employment, a fairer distribution of income, consolidation of union strength, far-reaching changes in agricultural life, increased wages, increased savings, discovery of radars, new computers, penicillin and a lot more.
