Match the bolded word in each excerpt to its contextual meaning.
ella [17]

In the excerpt "Missing me one place search another" from "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman, the word 'boundaries' fits better in the context, in the place of 'one place', since its meaning is close to it, as in 'edge', 'frontier', 'border'. Resulting in the sentence: Missing me bondaries search another.

In the excerpt "Nature without check with original energy." from "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman, the word 'control' fits better in the context, in the place of 'check', since its meaning is close to it, as in 'manage', 'verify', 'command'. Resulting in the sentence: Nature without control with original energy.

In the excerpt "Between the heaves of storm." from "Dying" by Emily Dickinson, the words 'the rising and falling of an object' fit better in the context, in the place of 'heaves' since they are close in meaning as the up and down of something, in this case, the storm. Resulting in the sentence: Between the rising and falling of the storm.

Describe someone with a good heart
MariettaO [177]
Hello :)

Someone with a good heart is pretty hard to find, they always make excuses for you and accept apologizes that are never said. They aren’t afraid to put themselves down if it means lifting you up. They choose to see the good in people, even when it’s not there. They don’t know how to give up on people, even when they should. They make time for you, even when you don’t for them. They’re forgivers, they don’t keep grudges.

Hope this helps some >.<

Answer:

The correct answer is: Anne Bonny.

Explanation:

Anne Bonny was one of the most famous female pirates during the Golden Age. She was born in Ireland, but later she moved to America (to the Province of Carolina) when she was 10 years old. When she grew up, she fell in love with Calico Jack Rackham, who was a pirate, and she became one herself. She participated in many pirate fights and fought with more skill than any other male pirate.
