Answer:

Making mistakes are part of the human nature. “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new” says Albert Einstein. Just like what Albert Einstein said, mistakes are essential for life. I can assure you that everyone makes mistakes.

Most mistakes are unintentional, but so long as you can learn from your mistakes, this mistake becomes an asset of your life learning experience. Occasionally, mistakes are careless mistakes. Careless mistakes are mistakes that would never have existed if you had tried harder. Those mistakes are a big monster with everyone. One day, I had a big test. This test was about 70% of our grade. I had the topic memorized and I knew I was about to ace it! I was done the test in like 10 minutes! We had 30 minutes to do it, but I was done a third of the limited time! My teacher had told the class if we had finished early, we could check our work or we could play some video games on our computer. I picked the more enjoyable option. After a few weeks, we got our test back. My score was a 14 out of 30! When I had checked my mistakes, all of them were so obvious! Luckily, these careless mistakes didn’t affect my grade that much since we took a redo. When I redid my horrible test, I already had learned from my previous mistakes.

You can harm yourself with these immense threats. There are times that mistakes are not acceptable if you harm others. For example, if a doctor gives the patient the wrong diagnosis or medicine this could harm a precious life. When you keep on doing the mistakes repeatedly, your brain will insert this mistake as the correct answer.  Therefore, you must be vigilant of every little thing we conduct, so you do not harm others or yourself unintentionally.

A mistake shows that either you need to try harder or that you need to learn a bit farther. Even though mistakes are perfectly regular for us, a mistake is not ever too good.

How did Odysseus react to Thersities mockery of king Agamemnon?
pochemuha

Answer:

He is upset.

Explanation:

Odysseus argues that Thersites is a peasant who has no right to speak out against kings and nobility. Odysseus goes on to say that Thersites lacks personal pride and respect since he refuses to battle. Furthermore, Thersites' lack of dignity is symbolized by his malformed look. Odysseus finishes his attack by smacking Thersites across the back with his scepter, creating a welt and tears to pour. All thought of Thersites coming home is put to rest after this public humiliation and branding. Soldiers must battle for pride and dignity. Only the mentally and physically deformed would argue differently.

Short-response prompt (15 points)
Bogdan [553]

The Balinese production of The Tempestuses shadow puppetry to display an interpretation of William Shakespeare’s famous work. This alternative form of performance focuses more on the fluidity, or sharpness, of the characters’ movement. When analyzing Ariel in this form, it is very apparent that her actions are very projected compared to other characters, by the excess movement of her arms and fingers. However, this projection is shown not with velocity in motion, but with a very smooth complexion in Ariel’s movement. This emphasizes the fragility of her character by connecting her to something very easily tampered with, like the smoothness of still water, that changes with something even as soft as a breeze. The Balinese play also uses the clever technique of utilizing their lighting as a form of portraying Ariel’s character, by physically moving the actor towards and away from the light in order to change the size of the shadow shown. This was well utilized by not only Ariel, but the entire Balinese cast. When Prospero manipulates Ariel into believing that her deed was an act of gratitude for releasing her from her imprisonment, the cast makes Prospero noticeably larger in size and Ariel noticeably smaller. This adds dynamic contrast to the characters and allows the audience to view Ariel as much more timid and frail, as well as Prospero much scarier and evil.
