The main active components of bleach and many other household cleaners are salts. Salts are produced by mixing of acid and bases along with water. There are three different types of salts such as acidic salt, basic salts, and neutral salts.
The different products of salts are used in daily household detergents. The common salt products are bleaching powder, caustic soda, washing soda. Caustic soda is present in detergents, soaps, chlorine is present in bleaching powder. Washing soda is used in soaps.
