What influence did samurai customs and values have on the government and society of medieval Japan
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

The samurai, members of a powerful military caste in feudal Japan, began as provincial warriors before rising to power in the 12th century with the beginning of the country’s first military dictatorship, known as the shogunate. As servants of the daimyos, or great lords, the samurai backed up the authority of the shogun and gave him power over the mikado (emperor). The samurai would dominate Japanese government and society until the Meiji Restoration of 1868 led to the abolition of the feudal system. Despite being deprived of their traditional privileges, many of the samurai would enter the elite ranks of politics and industry in modern Japan. More importantly, the traditional samurai code of honor, discipline and morality known as bushido–or “the way of the warrior”–was revived and made the basic code of conduct for much of Japanese society.

Early Samurai

During the Heian Period (794-1185), the samurai were the armed supporters of wealthy landowners–many of whom left the imperial court to seek their own fortunes after being shut out of power by the powerful Fujiwara clan. The word “samurai” roughly translates to “those who serve.” (Another, more general word for a warrior is “bushi,” from which bushido is derived; this word lacks the connotations of service to a master.)

did The Magna Carta include clauses regarding due process and the guarantee of a speedy and fair trial?
umka21 [38]
<span>Due process of law is a constitutional guarantee that prevents governments from impacting citizens in an abusive way.  In its modern form, due process includes both procedural standards that courts must uphold in order to protect peoples’ personal liberty and a range of liberty interests that statutes and regulations must not infringe. It traces its origins to Chapter 39 of King John’s Magna Carta, which provides that no freeman will be seized, dispossessed of his property, or harmed except “by the law of the land,” an expression that referred to customary practices of the court. The phrase “due process of law” first appeared as a substitute for Magna Carta’s “the law of the land” in a 1354 statute of King Edward III that restated Magna Carta’s guarantee of the liberty of the subject.</span>

How did the battle of midway change the course of the war
cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

The hard defeat suffered by the Imperial Army of Japan ended its expansion plans for the Pacific.  In the opposite way, the Midway battle began the offensive operations of the US Navy during World War II.

Explanation:

Hello!

Within the framework of World War II, the battle of Midway took place between June 4 and 7, 1942 in the Midway Atoll, where the United States had a military base.

The intention of Admiral Yamamoto, who was in charge of the Japanese Army, was to attack that military base to damage the US naval fleet. With this, he thought he could prevent the American navy from interfering with the Japanese expansion campaign, which was developing in East and Southwest Asia.

As a result of the battle, the Japanese army that participated in combat was practically destroyed, considerably weakening its power.
