Please help me to fix all grammar, punctuation, spelling, and replacing words with strong words to make me sound more fluent in

this essay. (must be a minimum of 11 sentences, I want to sound more fluent.)
Essay:

Positive and negative experiences can affect a person physically and mentally, Elie Wiesel’s novel Night negative experiences for Elie, putting him in a traumatized for life kind of position, this kind of trauma is not something that will one day go away, it stays with him until the day he dies. The author explains how babies and children are thrown into flames, the crematorium, and how he feels about that happening, “Babies! Yes, I did see this, with my own eyes. . . children thrown into the flames.” (Wiesel 32). He didn’t know that this was the beginning of all of the tragedies yet to come, and the Holocaust. Elie’s story proves that living through such trauma will stay with them for the rest of their life. The images of babies and children being thrown into fires are burned into his brain. According to the text, “I must let myself slide to the ground. Only now did I feel the full extent of my weakness.” This is only one of three of the worst tragedies Elie has encountered. Elie and the other survivors finally stopped walking by the time the SS was tired enough to stop in the snow at an abandoned village just to die if they fell asleep in the snow. Elie wanted to sleep because he was exhausted to the point death hadn’t even crossed his mind at this point. Gradually, his father realized the outcome of falling asleep in the snow there, and that was death. People all around them were dying in their sleep because they fell asleep in the snow carelessly. They, like Elie, didn’t realize they would die in their sleep if they decided to fall asleep in the snow. On page 65, Elie explains, “And so he remained for more than half an hour, lingering between life and death, writhing before our eye. And we were forced to look at him at close range.” A little boy was being hung before their eyes. He was so small that he was hanging there on the verge of death for around half an hour. This affected Elie terribly, he still thought of this moment when they were eating later on. He said that the soup tasted like corpses, of course, he didn’t mean this literally, he meant it figuratively. Elie has had many things burned into his brain from this tragic time known as the Holocaust, the hangings he was forced to witness are one of them, considering what he said about the soup that is. Positive and negative experiences can affect a person physically and mentally (How do I turn this into a concluding sentence?) (Concluding Sentence: In this sentence, you should reiterate your thesis and how you supported/proved it.)
