So I’m not going to be able to give a exact answer but I can explain what you need to do. So a dilation is going to be multiplying the number given by the marked points on the graph and then re-graphing them, so since it’s 1/2 you to really just mark all the points but at there halves EX: 4 is now 2. 6 is now 3. So a dilation is just replotting all the numbers at half what they currently are

A school is organizing a cookout where hotdogs will be served. The hotdogs come in small packs and large packs. Each small pack
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

10x+18y=76

x+y=6

Let x = the number of small pack of hotdogs

Let y = the number of large pack of hotdogs

Step-by-step explanation:

x = small hotdogs

y = large hotdogs

The total number of hotdogs is:

10x+18y=76

Since a total of 6 packs were purchased, we know x+y must equal 6

x+y=6

Write System of Equation

10x+18y=76

x+y=6

Secant TP and tangent TR intersect at point 7. Chord SR and chord PQ intersect
prisoha [69]

Answer:

(C)x=11.6, y=23.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Theorem of Intersecting Secant and Tangent

Applying this theorem in the diagram, we have:

TQ$ X TP=TR^2

10(10+x+4)=16^2\\10(14+x)=256\\140+10x=256\\10x=256-140\\10x=116\\$Divide both sides by 10\\x=11.6

Next, we apply Theorem of Intersecting Chords

PV X VQ=SV X VR

4 X x= 2 X y

Recall earlier we got: x=11.6

2y=4 X 11.6

2y=46.4

Divide both sides by 2

y=46.4/2=23.2

Therefore: x=11.6, y=23.2

Find the slope of the line 7x+4y=10
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

The slope is -7/4

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ 7x + 4y = 10

∵ y = mx + c ⇒ where m is the slope of the line

∴ Re-arrange the equation

∴ 4y = 10 - 7x ⇒ ÷4

∴ y = 10/4 - (7/4) x

∴ y = 5/2 - (7/4) x

∴ The slope is -7/4
