Answer:

James Joyce and Virginia Woolf are two representative figures of the modernist fiction, known for the use of the Stream of Consciousness technique. They are often categorized by the same features concerning this technique; however, their use of this technique may converge and diverge. This research is a stylistic investigation of the use of Stream of Consciousness in Joyce’s A Portrait of The Artist as a Young Man and Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway. It also explores Joyce’s Epiphanies and Woolf’s Moment of Being in the aforementioned novels. An eclectic method that draws on insights from psychoanalysis, stylistics and Narratology is adopted to this study. The findings concerning the convergence in the use of Stream of Consciousness in the two aforementioned novels could be summarized as follows: the implication of the aspect of focalization, the use of free association and the use of time-montage devices. As for the divergence in the use of the Stream of Consciousness in Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, it is related to the use of Free Indirect Discourse, Space-Montage and the guidance of the author. However, in Joyce’s A Portrait of that Artist as a Young Man, it is distinguished by the use of Interior Monologue and the evolution of language. This research might pave the way for an extended study to the technique of Stream of Consciousness in a rather exhaustively psychological perspective.

What external forces have gained influence over our self identities, and why have these grown?
kakasveta [241]

The external forces that gain influence over our identity are the elements of the environment in which we live and the people we live with.

We can arrive at this answer because:

 • Personal identity is the term referring to the ability of human beings to behave in the same way in any situation.
 • That identity is something that determines who we are.
 • Furthermore, identity is formed by the joining of our beliefs and convictions and the influence of external factors.
 • These external factors are associated with elements that are outside our body, but which have an impact on the construction of our identity.

In this case, the external factors refer to the environment in which we live and the people we live with. The environment can encourage a calm, nervous, quarrelsome, peaceful identity, among others. In addition, people around us can show us new ideas and beliefs that influence the modification of an individual's identity.

Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

In recent news, we have been notified that the library will be closing due to not enough funds. The library isn't able to pay all the bills since not enough money is being received by the public in order to continue running the establishment. Without the library, many students will lose their place of studying and the place where they can check out books. Many active readers and kids won't be able to visit the library and read books. More people could continue to use the library if we are able to raise 1,000 dollars by selling popcorn. If we are able to do this there's a chance we could be able to continue utilizing the library. Students should avidly use the library since they have lots of helpful resources for students and thousands of books to use. Don't wait until our library closes down, begin checking out books and join library book clubs today!

quester [9]

The real story of John Smith and Pocahontas Is really sad, not as the untrue version, the real version even when Pocahontas was a powerful girl is less fantastic than the untrue story, however, the Pocahontas myth lasted many years hence the romantic story was more amusing for many than the original and real version.
