  • The United States only have the President to veto. In a Roman republic only the two consoles have power to veto.

  • There was a system of checks and balances in both government. That means no branch in the government can take all of the power.

The Difference between both government are:

  • The legal codes are different. In a Roman republic all laws are written in the 12 tables while in the USA we write our laws in a constitution.

  • The judicial branches are different because in the USA and Romam Republic.
