What is a numerical paragraph?
zheka24 [161]

Using numerical values to identify and apply expository writing structure has proved an effective tool in identifying expository text structure and helping writers organize essays. The numerical values eliminate the writing jargon that varies from teacher to teacher and curriculum to curriculum. Instead, writers simply apply the implicit hierarchy of the number system to that of reading and writing. Writers just seem to intuitively “get” the idea of a number system applied to their expository writing in essays.

How does the author create there Tone
Fiesta28 [93]

The Tone is achieved through word choice (diction), sentence construction and word order (syntax), and by what the viewpoint character focuses on. The Tone is created or altered by the way the viewpoint character/narrator treats the story problem and other characters, and by the way, he responds to the events surrounding him.

NARA [144]

Answer: C.the English countryside

Explanation:

Tess of the d'Urbervilles: A Pure Woman Faithfully Presented is a novel by written by Thomas Hardy, published in 1891. The story is set at the end of the 19th century, in a region southwest of London. More precisely, the novel takes place in Wessex, an area that includes the county of Dorset and the surrounding counties. The novel itself illustrates the country life during the late Victorian period. The story does not take place in America, so the option A is incorrect. It also certainly does not take place among the Mayan ruins, or London. The story is set in rural England - the correct answer is C. the English countryside.
