one similarity between living in the desert and the city is that both can get very hot in the summer however the desert stays hot throughout the year. one difference between living in the city and the desert is that the city most likely has more people and buildings and city's. another difference is that the desert is usually very very dry and so it's not easy to find running water but as for the city it has easier access to clean running water.
