Mr. Bumble is one of the character in the novel 'Oliver Twist' authored by the well known writer Charles Dickens. There comes an incident in the novel when Mr. Bumble have a fight with his wife, Mrs. Corney.

Due to her wife's wicked temper Mr. Bumble decides to go to a public house to drown his sorrow and frustration.
