Answer:

Tennessee's Partner is a short story by Bret Harte, published in 1869. The story became very popular and was adapted into four films.

The story is centered around two men, Tennessee and Tennessee's Partner. Tennessee is a gambler, and his partner is a man that always jokes. Despite their differences, the two men develop a strong friendship.

Tennessee is caught stealing and is therefore arrested. His partner, although disapproving of his actions, sticks up for him. Tennessee's criminal activities do not affect their friendship. The partner even tries to bribe the judge to save his friend, but fails in this attempt. This, of course, might not be a right thing to do, but it is understandable that Tennessee's partner wanted to help his friend in a difficult position. When Tennessee is hanged, he builds a grave for him.

This is a very important lesson about friendship, which teaches us a lot about acceptance and support. Although Tennessee steals, this does not make him a villain. Throughout the story, he proves that he is a loyal friend and is, therefore, not considered as an evil character. The two men might have done certain wrongdoings, but they do what they believe to be best for them and their friendship.

Nastasia [14]

Answer:

C. How to prepare for a school play audition

Explanation:

A chronological text structure is a type of text structure in which events are arranged in the order they take place. This structure can be easily recognized by the use of words such as first, then, after, finally, when, later, since, now, etc. For example, historical events are always arranged chronologically, because that is the only way they can be properly understood.

The essay topic that would be best suited to a chronological text structure is How to prepare for a school play audition. The chronological order is often used when someone wants to describe how something is done. Often, certain steps need to be followed in a strict order. This could be the case when it comes to the preparations for a school play audition, as well.
