In Walt Whitman's Poem 6, "Song of Myself" he there discusses the cyclical nature of life. The theme of his poem is;

  • Life has no real beginning or end; instead, it is a continuous circle.

When a young child asked Walt Whitman what the grass he had with him meant, instead of giving a straightforward answer, he made several speculations about the meaning of the grass.

For example, he reflected on how death brings forth new life. Grass sprang from compost.

Therefore, there was no real beginning or end. Life was cyclical in nature.

The answer is to throw away.

Reject most closely means "to dismiss." The choice "to throw away" would describe how the writer is completely against the idea that he or she is too young to make a difference and "dismisses", disregards and does not accept the idea that he or she is too young to make a difference.

Thesis: Animal testing is a valuable resource for producing
Radda [10]

Hello!

The correct answer is C. "People who support animal testing are crazy."

This is an example of an ad hominem fallacy because the thesis states that animal testing is valuable, which insinuates that the person making the claim believes in animal testing. By claiming that "people who support animal testing are crazy" is making a statement about the person himself rather than about the argument. The sentence is stating that the person who supports animal testing is crazy rather than explaining a counter-argument about the topic.

I hope this helps you! Have a lovely day!

The correct answer among the choices provided is the fourth option. Personal testimony was used by the speaker to prove his point. The speaker talked about his experiences on how Britain tried to stop the war in Europe. He is credible since he was a Cabinet member during that time.
