Answer:

If the man has blood type A one of whose parents had blood type O then he must be having the genotype IAi and the woman with blood group AB would have genotype IAIB. So if they produce offspring than the putative genotype of the offspring would be IAIA, IAi, IAIB, and IBi.

Explanation:

                   IA        i

             IA   IAIA   IAi

             IB   IAIB    IBi

Therefore out of four offspring, two offspring would be having A blood group, one offspring would have AB blood group and one offspring would have B blood group.

Question 16
nika2105 [10]

Answer and Explanation:

The Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction, which occurred around 66 million years ago, is defined as a mass extinction that wiped out around three-quarters of species on Earth.

Among the organisms that disappeared during this event, we find mammals, birds, fish, sharks, pterosaurs, birds, reptiles, insects, and some plant species.

This event is marked by the presence of a sediment layer known as the K-Ph boundary which showed important levels of iridium, an element that is abundant in craters. Therefore, after its discovery, scientists hypothesize this extinction occurred due to the impact of the giant Chicxulub crater which changed the conditions of the atmosphere.

When you begin an experiment, why should you create a table to record your data?
Salsk061 [2.6K]
It helps you organize your data, and so its not a complete mess when you need to refer back to it. It will help you organize and not confuse and miscompare information.  It also looks better and looks like you know what you're doing.

Why are there species instead of a continuum of various animals?
melamori03 [73]
Because evolution itself is a very slow process. Having said that, the chance of having a continuum of various animals would mean that evolution would have progressed very fast. Because evolution is slow, different species establish themselves for different ecological niches and environments, this enables them to become better through time at a certain environment which then leads to eventual diversification in the number of species.
