If h is m above the ocean and your trying to find when the rocket reaches that ocean… as the function gives the height above the ocean at a given time, when the height equals 0 the rocket will have reached the ocean so solve for t when h=0. working out in the photo. i got t=48.88seconds

What is the answer????????????????
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

Width, RS = 5x - 7 m

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter \: qrst \: = \: perimeter \: lmnp \\ let \: the \: width \: of \: rs \: and \: qt \: as \: y \\ 2(2x + 9) + 2y = 14x + 4 \\ 4x + 18 + 2y = 14x + 4 \\ 2y = 14x - 4x + 4 - 18 \\ 2y = 10x - 14 \\ y = \frac{10x - 14}{2} \\ y = 5x - 7

For the x-values 1,2,3, and so on, the y-values of a function form a geometric sequence that increases in value. What type of fu
babymother [125]

Answer:

C) Exponential Growth

Step-by-step explanation:

The geometric sequence is of the form a(n) = a*r^(n-1). For example, a(n) = 2*3^(n-1) with a = 2 as the starting term and r = 3 as the common ratio.

The variable n is in the exponent. We can replace it with x to get y = 2*3^(x-1); which graphs out to an exponential curve going uphill as you read it from left to right. This shows exponential growth, which matches with the growth of the original geometric sequence.
