B.) The Axis powers would have been unstoppable if they had developed the atomic bomb first.
D.) The Americans used the bomb to end the war and minimize American casualties.
E.) The bombing was necessary to stop aggressive nations that endangered world peace.

The options A and C are incorrect as atomic bombs were the deadliest and most destructive weapons when they were made and claiming they were less than that is just vacuous and the atomic bombs had already been tested before being dropped on Japan.

Who were mountain men and how did their role in Oregon change over time?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

A mountain man is an explorer who lives in the wilderness. Mountain men were most common in the North American Rocky Mountains from about 1810 through to the 1880s (with a peak population in the early 1840s). They were instrumental in opening up the various Emigrant Trails (widened into wagon roads) allowing Americans in the east to settle the new territories of the far west by organized wagon trains traveling over roads explored and in many cases, physically improved by the mountain men and the big fur companies originally to serve the mule train based inland fur trade.
