The inequality Is showing that -1 is less than or equal to t. If t was -2 then this would not make sense, since -1 is greater than -2.

Hope this helped

If u(x) = x^2 – x^4 + x^2 and v(x) = –x2, which expression is equivalent to (u/v)(x)?
bazaltina [42]

(u/v)(x) =

x^2 - x^4 + x^2

---------------------- = - (1 - x^2 + 1) = - (2 - x^2).

        -x^2

I'd suggest you double check to ensure that you've copied down this problem correctly.

What is (6 + 6 + 6) · (6² + 1²)?

Please don't tell the answer is the devil number.
VikaD [51]
(6+6+6)(36+1) = (18)(37) = 666. ... If you don't want an answer posted, there's a simple solution ... don't post the question ! And if it still mysterously somehow appears, then for heaven's sake, don't offer points as a reward for an answer. ... Finally ... devil's numbers belong in the Old Wives' Hooey category, not in the Mathematics one. They're not real.

Answer:

A) 2 years at 3% interest = $10,617.57

Step-by-step explanation:

loan amount (P) = $10,000

interest is compound monthly :

A = P (1 + r/n)^n*t

find:

which of these loan terms will have the lowest total cost?

A) 2 years at 3% interest

B) 3 years at 3% interest

C) 4 years at 3% interest

D) 5 years at 3% interest

solution:

plugin the values into the formula to get the accumulated monthly interest.

A.   using 2 years at 3% interest

A = $10,000 ( 1 + 0.03 ) ¹² ˣ ²

                               12

   = $10,617.57

B.   using 3 years at 3% interest

A = $10,000 ( 1 + 0.03 ) ¹² ˣ ³

                                12

   = $10,940.51

C.   using 4 years at 3% interest

A = $10,000 ( 1 + 0.03 ) ¹² ˣ ⁴

                                12

   = $11.273.28

D.   using 5 years at 3% interest

A = $10,000 ( 1 + 0.03 ) ¹² ˣ ⁵

                                12

   = $11,616.17

therefore, based on the above terms, option A which is $10,617.57

                 has the lowest accumulated monthly interest. (total cost)
