Answer:

Parabola Graph (top-right)

Step-by-step explanation:

A graph represents a <u>function</u> given that none of the x-coordinates have more than one corresponding y-coordinates. Consequently, if a graph contains two or more different points with the same x-coordinate, then that graph does not represent a function.

An easier way of finding out whether a graph represents a function is through the vertical line test. In order to perform the vertical-line test, imagine dragging a ruler held vertically across the graph from left to right. A graph is a function if the edge of the ruler crosses the graph only once for every x -value.

Out of all the given options, the graph of an <u>upward-facing parabola </u>represents a function (top-right graph), as each vertical line contains only one point. Please see the attachment, where I performed the vertical line test.

The whole string was 2.4m. If you take 1/3 of 1/2x, you are just taking 1/6x. You know that what remains is 2m, and that it's the remaining 5/6. So you divide 2 by 5 and multiply that by six to get 2.4.

(25 points)
Licemer1 [7]
Here, y = -15 with x = -20
LCM of 15 & 20 is 60, so divide 15 & 20 from 60,
60/15 = 4 & 60/20 = 3

Now, multiply the results with intial values,
4y = 3x
y = 3/4 x

When y = 12,
x = 12 * 4/3
x = 48 / 3
x = 16

In short, Your Answer would be 16

Hope this helps!
