Answer:

The First Amendment states, in relevant part, that: “Congress shall make no law...abridging freedom of speech.” Freedom of speech includes the right: Not to speak (specifically, the right not to salute the flag).

Explanation:

These are the three most important reasons you should respect and honor the American flag. 1. To honor our service men and women. We respect the American flag to honor all of the service men and women who are overseas, who died in the line of duty, disabled veterans, or retired veterans. These men and women put their lives on the line defending our country. 2. To honor America's first responders.

Between 1893 and 1908, how many attempts were there to get suffrage on state ballots?
geniusboy [140]
Women's suffrage in the United States of America, the legal right of women to vote, was established over the course of more than half a century, first in various states and localities, sometimes on a limited basis, and then nationally in 1920.

The demand for women's suffrage began to gather strength in the 1840s, emerging from the broader movement for women's rights. In 1848, the Seneca Falls Convention, the first women's rights convention, passed a resolution in favor of women's suffrage despite opposition from some of its organizers, who believed the idea was too extreme. By the time of the first National Women's Rights Convention in 1850, however, suffrage was becoming an increasingly important aspect of the movement's activities.

The first national suffrage organizations were established in 1869 when two competing organizations were formed, one led by Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the other by Lucy Stone. After years of rivalry, they merged in 1890 as the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) with Anthony as its leading force.

Outline the steps that would need to occur in order to move from a capitalist to a communist society. And what would a communist
Fittoniya [83]

According to Marx, the transition between capitalism and communism would be socialism, a social, political, and economic system in which would take place the reforms to establish communism.

Karl Marx (1818-1883), was a German politician and philosopher who developed political, economic, and social theories that influenced the following generations until today.

He is considered as the father of scientific socialism, modern communism, Marxism, and historical materialism. These theories are deeply explained in the best-known works of him are:

  • The Manifesto of the Communist Party
  • Capital

In these works, Karl Marx criticizes the capitalist socio-economic system stating that this system was controlled by the upper classes, wealthy people, and owners of the means of production for their benefit.

Faced with this criticism, he proposes that there would inevitably be internal tensions that would lead to the replacement of capitalism by a new system run by the proletariat called socialism.

Finally, he stated that socialism would be a transitional stage in which the necessary conditions would be given to be replaced by a stateless and classless society called communism.

Additionally, he argues that for these changes to take place, society had to carry out the following steps:

  • Give the State control over the means of production
  • Eliminate social classes
  • A state-controlled by the working class
  • Elimination of private property
