After reading the poem "Sea Rose" by Hilda Doolittle, we can answer the questions in the following manner:

Part A

3. The sea rose, even with its acrid scent, is more endearing than the traditional rose.

Part B

1. "more precious / than a wet rose / single on a stem-"

 • In her poem "Sea Rose," Hilda Doolittle praises the qualities of a sea rose over those of a regular rose.
 • We all know roses: how beautiful and fragrant they are. They are often associated with love, tenderness, and softness.
 • The sea rose, on the other hand, is "marred", "harsh", "meagre".
 • It does not look as good as the regular rose, but there is where its beauty and importance lie.
 • The sea rose is strong - it has survived a great ordeal. Nature itself has beaten it, "flung" and "caught" it.
 • The sea rose, with all its flaws, ends up being more precious than other roses.

Select ALL the correct words in the passage.
Marat540 [252]

The three sentences in the story that indicates the passage is an ex nihilo type of creation story are:

 1. There was as yet no man, nor any animal, nor bird, nor fish, nor crawfish, nor any pit, nor ravine, nor green herb, nor any tree; nothing was but the firmament.
 2. Lo, now how the heavens exist, how exists also the Heart of Heaven; such is the name of God; it is thus that he is called.
 3. And the creation was verily after this wise: Earth, they said, and on the instant it was formed; like a cloud or a fog was its beginning.

What is ex nihilo?

The meaning of ex nihilo is made out or form out of nothing. Ex nihilo is a bible term that means the God created everything from nothing.

Thus, the three sentences are:

Should animals be used for performing experiments (brief summary) PLS PLS PLS HELPPP
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Animals should not be used for performing experiments. I say this because while you are performing the experiment on the animal it may go wrong and cause that animal to lose its life. By doing so you are putting the animal in danger of testing things on them. Testing experiments on animals isn't the only way to figure out if soething works. Animals should not be used as guinea pigs.

Explanation: That's all I got......hope it helps:)
