40 winds. To be exact 40.2336 winds. But that’s not really possible so I would say 41 winds.

Find the length of each side of the polygon for the given perimeter. p=54 mi
mote1985 [20]
This all depends upon the number of sides your polygon has.  I am assuming it is regular and that all the sides have the same length. If this is true, then the polygon will only be able to have the number of sides that is a factor of 54.  If this is a 27-gon, then each side will measure 2 mi; if this is an 18-gon, then each side will measure 3 mi; is this is a triangle, then each side will measure 18 mi; if this is a hexagon, then each side will measure 9 mi; if this is a 9-gon, then each side will measure 6 mi.  It all depends upon the number of sides you have.  Your answer will be found in the info above, again, assuming this is a regular polygon.

Answer:

a) the slope is 2/-1 or just -2

b) the slope is 1/1 or just 1

Step-by-step explanation:

You can find slope (rise/run) by picking a point on the graph. For example on question a I chose the point (-2, 1) i then counted how far my run was, which is 2, and my rise (or how far down it went) was -1. Therefore my slope was 2/-1 or just -2.

<u>M</u><u>e</u><u>t</u><u>h</u><u>o</u><u>d</u><u> </u><u>1</u><u> </u><u>:</u>

replace x and y by their value 1 and 3

3 = 4(1) - 1 = 4-1 = 3

2(1) + 3 = 2 + 3 = 5

correct

<u>M</u><u>e</u><u>t</u><u>h</u><u>o</u><u>d</u><u> </u><u>2</u><u> </u><u>:</u>

y = 4x - 1

2x + y = 5

y = 4x - 1

y = -2x + 5

y - y = 4x - 1 - ( -2x + 5 )

0 = 4x - 1 + 2x - 5

6x - 6 = 0

6x = 6

x = 6/6 = 1

y = 4x - 1

y = 4(1) - 1

y = 3

correct
