Answer:

Tag-Teaming

Explanation:

'Tag-Teaming' a hold requires at least two senators that want to hold the legislation indefinitely. The first senator (anonymously) places a hold on the legislation, and then, before their name is entered into the record, releases the hold. As a result, Senators can effectively wage (or threaten to wage) a filibuster – in effect, insist on extended debate in order to delay or prevent a final vote on most amendments, bills, or other motions.

Describe Buddhists concept of salvation
Whitepunk [10]

The higher teaching is the doctrine of the Four Noble Truths and the Path, and this is the Buddhist doctrine of salvation. When a being decides to turn his aspirations in the direction of the Path, then his efforts culminate, not in heaven, but in a state which is outside the whole system of samsära.

Which of these is a reason that jefferson wanted to buy the louisiana territory?
liq [111]
Thomas Jefferson wanted to buy the Louisiana Purchase for several reasons. First, it would double the size of the United States. From this deal, the US would gain roughly 828,000,000 square miles of territory from the French. Another reason why Jefferson wanted to buy this territory was because it would help to get rid of European influence in America. Since the US recently became independent, they wanted to expand their power and influence without worrying about conflict with European nations. Along with this, Jefferson was expanding America's territory in order to fulfill their "manifest destiny." Jefferson's purchase is the beginning of this concept, which is based around the belief that it is America's god given right to control all the land from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean.
