Whilst c is the Hypotenuse    

We’re trying to find c here so we can subsitute here

3 and 4 are both legs so if we plug them both into the theorem

3^2 + 4^2 = c^2

9 + 16 = c^2

25= c^2

√25 = c^2

c= 5
