The Inca used those metals to decorate their palaces and had silverware, cups and dishes made of them.

One big challenge that has recently immersed is Turkey making a dam in the euphrates river. This river runs through syria, iraq, kuwait, and parts of jordan. If turkey continues with this project the river will soon dry up and possibly lead to more wars in the area.
