Who “saves” and nurses Victor at the end of chapter 21? How is this ironic?

English

Mr. Kirwin helps Victor, sends a nurse to take care of Victor, writes to Victor's father and defends him in court when he realizes that Victor is innocent. Victor's pride of wisdom led him to difficult situations, this is ironic according to the statement he gave ... how ignorant you are in your price of wisdom. Victor tends to avoid crowds, has close friendships with few people.

Answer:

Mr. Kirwin; because he had charged Victor before.

Explanation:

Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus is a novel written by Mary Shelley and it discusses many issues about science and ethics. It was published in the 19th century, when Shelley was very young. In this case, Mr. Kirwin is the one who saves Victor. Irony is a rhetorical device that expreses the contrast between what happens and what is expected. In this case, Mr. Kirwin had previously charged Victor with murder, but then, in chapter 21, he decided to help Victor.
