In this excerpt, we find that Edison was not daunted when they failed on their project. He rather happily enjoined his partner to forge on.

He encouraged him to learn from their mistakes and find a new way to solve the problem.

Good entrepreneurs are flexible and not easily discouraged when things do not go their way.

The story 'Mericans' depicts how Hispanic and Mexican immigration was having an impact on the fabric of American society and how it had created a new population which was unsure of its identity.
