Answer:

1. "Then I tied all his arms and legs in knots"

2. "I had to arm wrestle for it"

Number 1 was humorous because Stormie tangled all his tentacles in knots so he can't move.

Number 2 was humorous because he arm wrestled an old octopus to get the anchor himself.

Student drivers are required to keep a log of their supervised driving hours. However, not all students are diligent in their record-keeping.

The transition that should be used to combine these sentences is the following one: however. This adverb is used to introduce a statement that contrasts with or appears to contradict something that has been previously said.  In this case, you are saying that student drivers should keep a written record of their supervised driving hours yet you are also stating that not all of them do it thoroughly and well.

It is ironic when Juror 3 says "I have no personal feelings about this" because?
stepan [7]

Answer: They obviously do.

Explanation:

Saying, "Oh, I don't really care." Is the same way as saying "Oh, nothings wrong. I'm fine." Stop lying to yourself, you're not fine and you obviously care if you lash out when someone says something you don't agree with.
