Regardless of how experienced one is, making a presentation always has a way of putting one on the edge.

The best antidote for this, and for delivering an amazing presentation is to prepare ahead effectively.

The options/actions from the questions which aid one during preparation are:

A) Asking others to listen as you practice. This is more like a rehearsal of the presentation. It gives one the benefits to rectify errors in the information being presented as well as the manner of presentation.

B) Getting plenty of rest: This is very crucial. After the presentation has been put together and rehearsed, it is important to get lots of rest. This helps to reduce anxiety and keep the mind very sharp and focused.

E) Thinking Positively: One has a better chance of making a great and effective presentation when the mind is iterating positively than when it is beset with negative thoughts. Negative thoughts diminish self-confidence and make for the projection of a poor image. This can be distracting to the audience.

Caffeine has its advantages. However, taking lots of it can become counterproductive and produce nervousness and lack of concentration.

Other actions that are advantageous to an effective presentation are:

 1. Arriving Early
 2. Meeting and greeting people before the presentation etc.
 3. Taking Deep Breaths right before the presentation
 4. Attending and or studying presentations by other professionals etc.

a) Conventional.

A conventional symbol is a setting, object, character, or event in a piece of writing that carries a literal meaning and a figurative meaning standardized, or agreed upon in one or more societies, that is to say, it's the same for a group of people. For example, the color red is a conventional symbol, since it is generally accepted that it symbolizes blood, passion, emotion, danger, or daring.

Both the wild rose-briar and the holly-tree are conventional symbols because it is generally accepted that a rose is a symbol of love and beauty. The word "wild" stresses the intensity and passion of that "rose". As for the holly-tree, it represents peace, goodwill, and, due to its resistance to lightning, protector or guardian of evil spirits or bad luck, for example.

My papa waltz What physical experience does the speaker describe in the poem?
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

“My Papa’s Waltz” was written by the American poet Theodore Roethke. It was first published in 1942, then collected in his book The Lost Son and Other Poems in 1948. At first glance, the poem describes a charming family scene: a father and son dance together in the kitchen, roughhousing and romping around. But the speaker supplies a number of hints that things aren’t quite as happy as they seem. The poem subtly reflects on the tension between fathers and sons—tension that in turn may suggest undercurrents of violence.
