What were the New World colonies of Portugal and Spain?

The Atlantic Ocean, roughly 100 leagues (555 kilometers or 345 miles) west of the Cape Verde Islands, off the coast of northwest Africa, and later under Portuguese authority, served as the boundary between Spain and Portugal's division of the New World.

Brazil, Colónia do Sacramento, Uruguay, Guanare, and Venezuela were all colonized by Portugal, who also made several unsuccessful attempts to settle North America (Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia in Canada).

Mestizo societies arose in colonies founded by the Spanish and Portuguese. Under European authority, various ethnic groups coexisted.

Typically, whites were the landowners and the dominant race, while people of color handled the bulk of the manual labor and treated African Americans and Native Americans like slaves.

Therefore, in colonies established by the Spanish and Portuguese, Mexican societies developed. Different racial and ethnic groups coexisted under European rule.

"Don't find a fault, find a remedy." Write a 200 word essay on what this quote means.
larisa86 [58]

Rather than looking for what is wrong with things, this quote encourages for the reader to find solutions to problems. The quote suggests that finding faults only causes more faults. If citizens were to focus more on finding remedies to world issues, personal issues, and societal issues, it would be easier to live far better as a whole. Moreover, in the case of Henry Ford, who said the quote, finding the faults in one’s own work will not better it, simply make it worse. Finding a remedy betters one as a person, an inventor, or whatever one would like to become. It is far better to be part of the solution a person would like to create than be a part of the problem one tries their hardest to avoid. More so, complaining about the problem does not fix it, but simply makes it worse. Complaining about the problem makes one part of the issue. This being said, being part of the solution can be recognizing that oneself is part of the problem. If one is able to recognize that they are simply making things worse, they have suddenly switched themselves from being the problem into being the solution. This is what the quote, “Don’t find fault, find a remedy” by Henry Ford means.

Marysya12 [62]

Answer: Rana can explain what happens for it to become meteors and meteorites

Explanation:

They’re all related to the flashes of light called shooting stars sometimes seen streaking across the sky. But we call the same object by different names, depending on where it is. When a meteoroid survives a trip through the atmosphere and hits the ground, it’s called a meteorite. When meteoroids enter Earth’s atmosphere (or that of another planet, like Mars at high speed and burn up, the fireballs or “shooting stars” are called meteors. (Actually Wrote On a Old essay By Me)
