Answer:

1:Theatre of Herodes Atticus

The Herodian Theatre is one of the most impressive monuments of Athens and it is today hosting the Athens Festival with performances of theatre, music, and dance. The theatre is open to visitors only during performances. It is located on the south slope of the Acropolis and was added in 161 AD during Roman rule. The theatre was built by Herodes Atticus, a wealthy Roman, in memory of his wife Regale. It has exceptional acoustic capacities and can sit up to 5,000 spectators. It has a façade of 28 m high and 2,4 m width.

2:Ancient Cemetery of Kerameikos

Despite its central location, this site is one of the greenest places in Athens. The Kerameikos was the cemetery of Athens from the 12th century BC to the Roman Times. One can also visit the museum which houses stelae, sculptures, vases, and figurine found on the site.

3:Stoa of Attalos

The Museum of the Ancient Agora is housed in the exact reproduction of the Stoa of Attalos. Finds from the area are displayed as well as an interesting reproduction of the Agora in Antiquity. The original Stoa was built by King Attalos II in 159 BC and used to be the shelter of expensive shops for wealthy Athenians customers.

Identify at least two arguments for and two agruments against the new deal
fomenos

Answer:

The new deal were a number of different reforms that were conducted under President Roosevelt between 1933-1939. The programs just ended before World War II began and were designed to help recover from the great Depression of the late 1920s.

Like any government reforms, there were both supporters and a vocal opposition.

Explanation:

Argument 1 in favour: The Great Depression had the greatest impact on the working class and the poor. Radical programs were needed to ensure the economy can grow, more jobs can be created and basic social needs met.

Argument 2 in favour: It is the responsibility of the government to ensure the poorest in the society do not suffer. Thanks to the reforms, the American economy rebounded and when the second war started,America was probably the most industrialised country in the world.

Argument 1 against: The American economy is built on the foundations of capitalism, free market and minimum government intervention. The reforms might seem good for now, but they are changing the way American government works and in subsequent years, companies will always look to the government for a bailout.

Argument 2 against: We cannot trust the government to make rational decisions. Such reforms are similar to the ones seen in Soviet Union and can lead to mismanagement of epic proportions.
