“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). God created Adam from the dust of the ground by breathing life into him. So he literally carried the “breath of God” inside of him. We were given physical bodies, but the Lord also gave us spirits, the way He exists.
