So∠DHG = 7x-42, and since ∠FHC is directly opposite of it, it's the same value, 7x-42.

∠AGH should equal ∠CHF since they're both on parallel lines and line EF intersects them.

Therefore, ∠AGH =∠FHC:

3x-10=7x-42 (Subtract 7x and -10)

-4x=-32

x=8

∠DHG should be 8°

Jeff has five less than twice the number of clients that Kenan has. The product of the number of clients they have is 322. Write
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

The equation that represents this situation is 2c² - 5c - 322 = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ Kenan has c clients

∵ Jeff has five less than twice the number of clients that

   Kenan has

- That means multiply c by 2 and then subtract 5 from the

   product to find the number of Jeff's clients

∴ Jeff's clients = 2c - 5

∵ The product of the number of clients they have is 322

∴ c × (2c - 5) = 322

- Multiply c by the bracket (2c - 5)

∴ (c)(2c) + (c)(-5) = 322

∴ 2c² + (-5c) = 322

- Remember (+)(-) = (-)

∴ 2c² - 5c = 322

- Subtract 322 from both sides

∴ 2c² - 5c - 322 = 0

The equation that represents this situation is 2c² - 5c - 322 = 0

Solve, graph, and give interval notation for the compound inequality:
Feliz [49]

Answer:

The answer to your question is below

Step-by-step explanation:

Inequality 1

                        7(x + 2) - 8 ≥ 13

                        7x + 14 - 8 ≥ 13

                        7x + 6 ≥ 13

                         7x ≥ 13 - 6

                         7x ≥ 7

                           x ≥ 7/7

                           x ≥ 1

Inequality 2

                       8x - 3 < 4x - 3

                        8x - 4x < - 3 + 3

                               4x < 0

                                 x < 0 / 4

                                 x < 0

Interval notation   (-∞ , 0) U [1, ∞)

Hector invests $800 in an account that earns 6.98% annual interest compounded semiannually. Rebecca invests $1000 in an account
Roman55 [17]
A=P (1+r/n)^nt

A= Total amount invested, P=principal amount, r=Interest rate, n=number of time in a year when the interest is earned (for annual, n=1; for semi-annual, n=2, ...), t = time in years

In the current scenario, case 1, n=2; case 2, n=1 and A1=A2, t1=t2
Therefore,
800(1+0.0698/2)^2t = 1000(1+0.0543/1)t
Dividing by 800 on both sides;
(1+0.0349)^2t = 1.25(1+0.02715)^t
(1.0349)^2t = 1.25(1.02715)^t
Taking ln on both sides of the above equation;
2t*ln (1.0349)= ln 1.25 + t*ln (1.02715)
2t*0.0343 = 0.2231+ t*0.0268
0.0686 t = 0.2231+0.0268 t
(0.0686-0.0268)t = 0.2231
0.0418t=0.2231

t=5.337 years

Therefore, after 5.337 years or 5 years and approximately 4 months, their value of investments will be equal.

This value will be,
A=800(1+0.0698/2)^2*5.337 = $1,153.76
