Answer:

Bicameralism helps insure that everyone is represented equally in a legislative setting. One house represents states based on population (for example, since California is the most populated stated, it has the most representatives in the house of representatives (53)(1 representative per abt. 300,000 people). There are also other states like Wyoming with less people, only getting 1 representative for the entire state. The senate represents everyone equally, with each state sending 2 senators to serve in the senate.

Unicameralism is much harder, since if it chooses the population based system, bigger states will have more of a say over the smaller states. However, if they choose the equally representative system, there are only a certain amount of people representing massive populations
