During the so-called triangular trade that ensued from European colonization of Africa, slaves were purchased in West Africa
subdue inland ethnic groups in order to establish complete colonial rule and to exploit mineral resources. In the 15 and 16th centuries, slaves became the major commodity for European trade. The Portuguese began the slave trade around 1510. The Dutch took over all Portuguese possessions along the African coast in 1642.

What did traditional Egyptian artwork look like during the time of the great pharaohs?
Harman [31]
From today's perspective the works of art made in ancient Egypt are quite different from what we are used to in art. The pictures could look very formal, and also blocky. Some could argue they looked abstract in a way as well. They were also static. When we compare them to later Rennaisance art found in Europe, the style is strikingly different. Hieroglyphs (the way ancient Egyptians wrote) also accompanied pictures and images of all kinds very often and were sometimes precisely carved as an artwork of their own.

Why do people risk there own lives just to stay alive in war time ?
True [87]

Answer with Explanation:

People risked their own lives just to stay alive in war time because of their "political ideology." It was common for people to go to war, especially men, because it was deemed important in order to have social order in the society. This was also partly because of "pride" and "patriotism" to one's country which was common long time ago. They risked their own lives, not because they wanted to live but because they wanted their families to be protected and to continue living. Besides this, there were also laws (the draft) which strictly orders men to join the war whether they like it or not.
