Marshall defined it in these words. Economics is the study of humans, in relation to the ordinary business of life. It studies that portion of the personal and social activities, which are closely related to the attainment of material resources, related to welfare and its utilization.

Washington’s Precedent’s were positive and were the blueprint of the way the government is now. For example, one of his precedents were that there should only be a maximum of 2 four year terms. Another precedent was appointing a cabinet. The president needed help and he was able to nominate people to help in his presidency. Lastly, another precedent was appointing judges. The Judicial Brand was new and they had to fill out the empty branch. These were all positive things that helped America

The battle of the Marne was a major turning point of World War I. By the end of August 1914, the whole Allied army on the Western Front had been forced into a general retreat back towards Paris. Meanwhile the two main German armies continued through France.
