The best thing that Javier can do based on the length of the article is to <u>summarize</u><u>- take the</u><u> main ideas </u><u>from the </u><u>original </u><u>and </u><u>condense </u><u>them. </u>

The article in question is 10 pages and the research paper should be 2 pages.

<h3>Why should he summarize?</h3>
  • Summarizing would allow for the main information in the article to be captured in the research.
  • Summarizing would reduce the amount of information required to be fit into the research paper.

In conclusion, it would be best that Javier summarized the text and he should also do it in his own words whilst still citing the article to avoid plagiarism.
