Answer:

Throughout school I have always been dedicated and determined to seeking the best grade possible. I like having a positive mindset and setting goals that will allow me to reach further goals. My favorite english teacher helped me create this mindset and allowed me to develop into the student I am today. Holding these goals and participating in a growth mindset has positively influenced my attitude towards school. I no longer see school as a chore, but rather a stepping stone to my future.

Ponyboy realizes that Cherry and Marcia "weren’t alike." (p.30) In your own words, explain Ponyboy’s reasoning for this claim.
makkiz [27]

Answer:

He arrives at this reasoning because Cherry says she would never drink coke.

Explanation:

Cherry is not a coke lover. She claims that she would never drink this drink, even if she was starving and that was her only option. Ponyboy, like someone who likes coca-cola, finds this statement very bad. This takes away all the charm of Cherry for him and it is at that moment that he concluded that they "weren’t alike."

Which two details in the passage support the idea that Darcy is also prejudiced against Elizabeth?
Tresset [83]

Answer:

Hello. You did not show the passage that the text refers to, which does not allow this question to be answered. However, I can help you by stating that Darcy's prejudice against Elizabeth can be seen through the mischievous comments he makes regarding her family and the social position she occupies.

Explanation:

Darcy and Elizabeth are the main characters of "Pride and Prejudice" and are one of the most important couples in literature. However, before accepting their love for each other, Darcy and Elizabeth had to overcome the adverse thoughts they had for each other. Darcy was prejudiced against Elizabeth's family, who behaved in a scandalous and often vulgar way, in addition to being prejudiced against the social class she occupied, which made him speak several perjective comments that contributed to the growth of Elizabeth's pride. in relation to him.
