Which statements correctly describe something about resources?
Mkey [24]

The dictionary defines resources as the set of elements available to solve a need or carry out a business. There are several types of resources. Two large categories are those of renewable and non-renewable resources. The non-renewable exist in fixed quantities, nature can not recreate them in short geological periods. Renewable natural resources, on the other hand, can be restored by natural processes at a speed higher than that of consumption by human beings.

In a company we can talk about human, financial, material, technical and technological resources.

1- The human resource is paramount in the operation of any company. And it depends on the management and operation of other resources. (employees and collaborators who work there)

2- Financial resources: they are the own and foreign resources of economic and monetary character that the company requires for its operation.

3- Material resources: tangible assets of the company (facilities, equipment, raw material)

4- Technical and technological resources: Tools and auxiliary instruments in the coordination of other resources.

In a brief essay, explain three ways in which the Roman Catholic Church responded to the spread of Protestantism in the sixteent
nexus9112 [7]

Religious orders were formed that aimed to build allegiance to Rome and the papacy, and to educate people in Catholic teaching.  The Society of Jesus, known as the Jesuits for short, was a key order of this sort.  The order was founded by Ignatius of Loyola in 1534, along with Francis Xavier and several others.

The Council of Trent served to reform some abuses that were acknowledged by the Catholic Church. For instance, the Council of Trent put a stop to the selling of indulgences. But more than anything, the meeting of Roman Catholic church leaders reasserted the full authority of Roman power and doctrine in opposition to the Protestant threat.  The Council of Trent held meetings over a span of years from 1545 to 1563.

The Roman Inquisition was founded in 1542 to act as an investigative body regarding threats to Rome's teachings.  About a century later, Galileo would be one of the most famous persons tried by the Roman Inquisition. The efforts of the Roman Catholic Church in the 16th century have continued to impact both Catholicism and Protestantism. Faithful Catholics see the "Catholic Reformation" (which included the items described above) as a healthy resurgence of Rome's spiritual authority. Protestants have tended to see Rome's efforts as oppressive, convincing them that breaking off relationships with Rome was the right thing to do. There have been some efforts in recent history to build ecumenical ties between Catholics and Protestants, but mostly the two sides have continued to pursue their separate missions apart from one another.

In conclusion, The Roman Catholic Church responded to the spread of Protestantism in the 16th century in several ways, intending to strengthen its own stance and its hold on church power.

Was Napoleon successful in the Napoleonic Wars from 1803-1812? Cite evidence to support your
Oliga [24]

Answer:

He was succesful a first, but a failure in the end

Explanation:

During the first years of the Napoleonic Wars, Napoleon was succesful in bringing most of Europe under his control. He lead the French army to sounding victories against several enemies in Italy, in Germany, and in Eastern Europe, although he had many difficulties to conquer Spain.

Napoleon's tide changed when he decided to invade Russia. He had some victories at first, but an extremely cold winter, and the vastness of the country obliged him to retreat. During this retreat, he was often ambushed, and lost most of his army due to these ambushes, or due to the harsh winter.

His escape from Russia was precisely in 1812, and would mark his fate of several subsequent defeats that would utimately lead to his forced exile in the island of St. Helena.
