how does Body Ritual Among the Nacirema help us understand our own view of other cultures and how we are viewed by other culture
Inga [223]

We view other cultures as though they are wrong for not believing in what we do or practicing the same "rituals" that we do. There seems to be an "us vs them" dichotomy that has arisen from our (American? human?) inability to truly accept differences. We are viewed by other cultures as influential yet slightly xenophobic. Our inability to understand those who differ from us causes us to portray them in a negative light.

Hope this helped!

The principal objective of our booster club is to raise money for new marching band uniforms. Which definition best helps reader
viva [34]

Answer:

A). First, highest in rank or importance.

Explanation:

As per the question, the definition that best assists the readers to find the correct meaning of the word 'principal' in the given sentence would be 'first, highest in rank or importance' as it only goes with the context or meaning of the sentence. Therefore, the sentence would imply that 'the first(principal or primary) objective of our booster club is to raise money for new marching uniforms.' The other options do not correspond to the context of the question. Thus, option A is the correct answer.
