They were burdened with sash-weights and bags of birdshot, and their faces were masked, so that no one, seeing a free and graceful gesture or a pretty face, would feel like something the cat drug in. George was toying with the vague notion that maybe dancers shouldn’t be handicapped. This excerpt best illustrates Kurt Vonnegut’s message that everyone in a society should have equal talent and beauty. Advances in technology should be closely monitored. The above excerpt is from "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut, which is a dystopian fiction book. This excerpt best illustrates that option D. absolute equality prevents personal freedoms of expression.

Further explanation about the correct answer is mentioned below:

• In the book, it is seen that in order to achieve equality, all the citizens are tortured by the government.

• As mentioned above, the ballerinas were burdened with things so as to make everyone, equal.

• But the major problem with this is that it restricts the personal freedoms of people, as it is ensured that no one is better than anyone else.

Therefore, the correct option is option D, as the excerpt shows prevention of personal freedom for ensuring absolute equality.

My two characters are Romeo and Tybalt.

Romeo and Juliet get married, but soon after doing so, it gets complicated because of the long-standing fight between the Capulets and Montagues. Romeo tries to keep peace because Tybalt, a Capulet, is now related to him by marriage, but he feels a strong sense of revenge after Tybalt kills Mercutio. This portrays Man vs. Man because now, there is conflict between Romeo and Tybalt, because Romeo wants revenge for Tybalt killing Mercutio.
